Dog Training – Price Below

  • 1/1 Training Sessions – Two hour – $200 (for clients who come and train at my home location)
  • Five (5) training sessions – $450

With our 1/1 training program, your dog will not only learn the basics such as Sit, Down, Placing, Heeling, and Recall, but you as an owner will also learn the importance of placing your dog into a calm state of mind and how to maintain this behavior amongst multiple distractions. You will learn how to incorporate the 3D’s – Distance, Duration, and Distractions all of which will help both you and your dog fully enjoy the world around them.

We will also teach you the basics of e-collar training as we believe this is the best way to have a well-mannered dog, who is able to be off-leash.

Please keep in mind that 1/1 sessions rely heavily on the owner’s consistency and commitment to the program. You will be the one who will be working with your dog the most. Homework is given out after each session for you to complete throughout the week. The owner must be committed to the program as 90% of the training is done by the owner. I, the dog trainer will make up the other 10% when we meet once a week and I teach you how to properly train your dog. 1/1 sessions are designed to show you the basics and fundamentals of training which you will need to apply everyday throughout the week to achieve the results you want.

All training sessions are held in Carpio, ND and are an hour long per session. E-collars can be purchased through us on your first day of training if needed.

*1/1 sessions are not designed for dogs with extreme behavioral issues such as anxiety, fearful, nervous, or aggressive behavior. Please look at our board and train programs as those are geared heavily towards behavior modification and will better suit the needs of you and your dog.

Board & Train – Pricing Below

Our board and train programs are best described as an A to Z program. Your dog stays with us for either four or six weeks. During this time, we complete all the hard work for you by training your dog. Once the program is complete, we work with you on how to maintain your dog’s newly taught behaviors through follow-up sessions. For many people, a board and train program is easier because your dog comes home fully trained and all you have to do is maintain the training through every day practices. Our board and train programs are a popular choice for people who may not have the time to train their dogs or for people who have dogs with severe behaviors such as anxiety or aggression.

As far as obedience goes, we will work with your dog on the following:

  • Walking properly on a leash without pulling, barking, lunging, sniffing, or reacting to dogs and/or distractions
  • Sit
  • Down
  • Place command
  • Correcting bad behaviors – jumping up on people, jumping on countertops, mouthing, nipping, chasing, playing keep-away
  • Recall training (with and without distractions)
  • Separation Anxiety (some separation issues need a longer program)
  • Crate Nonsense (barking, whining, etc.)
  • Heeling properly on a leash and eliminating leash reactivity (some intense leash reactivity needs a longer program)
  • Building confidence with your dog so you get a well-mannered dog
  • Calm on Command training – having your dog be calm in all situations, without him/her having to be worn out with hours of walking/play time
  • Leadership skills with your dog so that your dog understands proper pack order with humans, eliminating a lot of pushy behavior dogs have. This is also great for nervous or fearful dogs
  • Work with your dog on the anxiety and fear that is driving most unwanted behaviors

All board and trains will come with a total of six hours of private training for the owner. The six hours of training typically work out as (1) two-hour mid training session. (1) two-hour training session at the completion of the program and (2) one-hour, follow-up sessions to be scheduled at the owner’s and trainer’s discretion. All follow-ups are held in Carpio, ND. For all our board and train clients who have completed our program and are interested in further training, one-hour private training sessions are available at $80 an hour.

* The above board and train price does NOT include the cost of the E-Collar. If you do not own an E-Collar, we are happy to provide you with one on the first day of training. We train with Educator collars by E-Collar Technology. The price will range from $199-$350 depending on the model your dog will need.

Board and Train Policy

  • All dogs must be dropped off and picked up by the owner
  • Dogs must also be up-to-date on vaccinations, flea and tick preventative and also have a negative fecal float test completed one-two weeks prior to drop off
  • Payment must be made in full to secure a spot

Four Week Program – $4,250

*This program is designed for dogs that are NOT human or dog aggressive or have severe levels of anxiety or fearful behavior, as these dogs take longer to work with.

We see so many dogs who are great at obedience, but cannot hold a basic command around distractions. Likewise, we see many dogs who are great at obedience, but cannot maintain a calm state of mind. This is why our program was created with a great deal of focus on teaching your dog to access their calm state of mind, listen better and not react to stimulants in their environment. We teach your dog to be a well-balanced canine not only around your house but also in real world situations. Setting them up for success, with you in mind, so that you can enjoy life to the fullest with your dogs.

Six Week Program – $5,900

We are known for taking on challenging dogs with massive amounts of anxiety or aggression. Whether your dog has horrible resource guarding behaviors, massive amounts of separation anxiety or is dog and/or human aggressive. We have never turned away a dog due to unwanted or dangerous behaviors.

Working with dogs who exhibit the behaviors listed above is a lot different then working with a dog who just needs help with basic commands. It requires intense training that involves teaching your dog new behaviors while getting rid of the old, unwanted ones. Each dog is different in their outcome as each dog needs their own amount of time to learn, has different limitations and abilities.

At a minimum, our goal is to teach your dog how to properly exist around other dogs and people in real world environments. Because each dog has a different training journey, it is our duty to give you an honest assessment during and after your dog completes our board and train program. This will inform you on what your dog’s limitations are and give you an idea on what home life will look like once the program is complete.

Dogs in our behavioral modification program will learn the following using a communication-style training method that involves sending clear messages to your dog using a remote collar.

Aggressive Dogs/Intense Dog Anxiety – $7,000

This program is for dogs who are exhibiting extreme human aggression, fear aggression and biting with the intent to harm other humans or animals. This program is also geared towards dogs who suffer from severe anxiety such as breaking out of kennels, self-harming and not being able to be left unattended.

Dogs who fall into this category are difficult to work with and often require more than one trainer and 24-hour surveillance to be rehabilitated properly. Rehabbing dogs with intense aggression and/or anxiety is extremely time consuming, stressful, and physically demanding. However, this is our job, and we take it seriously.

Due to the demands that these dogs put on us as trainers, we do have a special price for this program. We take pride in our abilities to rehab extremely challenging dogs who otherwise would not have another chance at survival. Our skillsets allow us to stay safe while making progress at your dog’s pace. Our Aggression/Anxiety board and train is still a six-week program, and your dog will go out on public outings, experience the world, and achieve solid obedience training. This program is for dogs who are truly dangerous to their families and/or to society. We can make some incredible progress with these dogs; it often just requires more than one person to achieve the results we hold our standards to.
Additional weeks of training are also available at $700 per week.

The above board and train price does NOT include the cost of the E-Collar. If you do not own an E-Collar, we are happy to provide you with one on the first day of training. We train with Educator collars by E-Collar Technology. The price will range from $199-$350 depending on the model your dog will need. E-Collars can be purchased in our shop

Two Week Refresher Board and Train – $2,500

Our refresher course is all about cleaning up your dog’s obedience, brushing up on their public access skills and perfecting behaviors that may have slipped since completing their program with us. Your dog will be integrated into our pack, go on public outings with us and be reminded on how to maintain their calm state of mind amongst many environmental distractions.

You will receive two hours of training with us to help you maintain your dog’s training. It is during this time that we will be able to answer all your questions regarding your dog’s behavior. We believe that the life you have with your dog can and should be limitless. There is no shame in your dog completing our refresher course. Growing is a part of life and we would love to help you and your dog grow together.
